The tavern was for a long time recognizable and know by the wood carved art piece of famous artist Zhuho Jumhur which was located to the left of the entrance. At the time, there was also an unwritten rule that “Grmeč” was being visited by journalists from “Politika“, and restaurant “Pod lipom” by our colleagues from Radio Belgrade but meeting point for both was restaurant “Šumatovac”.
